Description
Savour the bold taste of Farrer’s Lapsang Souchong, one of China’s most distinctive and historic black teas. Large leaves are dried over pinewood fires, creating a rich, smoky flavour that’s instantly recognisable.
To achieve its signature character, the leaves are withered over pine fires, pan-dried, and rolled by hand. They are then smoked again over smouldering pinewood, giving the tea its deep aroma and warmth.
The result is a smooth, full-bodied cup with gentle sweetness and a lasting smoky finish. Enjoy it alone for a strong, warming brew, or mix a spoonful with other teas for a hint of smoke.
Brew 2 teaspoons in freshly boiled water for 4–5 minutes, adjusting to taste. Drink it with or without milk — both ways bring out its rich, layered flavour. Perfect at any time of day, Lapsang Souchong is a tea of true character and tradition.
