Description

Savour the smooth, full taste of Farrer’s Assam Flowery Orange Pekoe, a fine black tea grown in India’s Assam region. Known for its strong yet delicate flavour, this tea is picked from the second or third flush, when the leaves are most vibrant.

The word “pekoe” comes from the Chinese for “white down,” describing the tender young leaves used in the best teas. “Flowery Orange Pekoe” refers to leaves measuring 8–15mm, found near the top of the tea bush. These fine, wiry leaves create a light, vegetal flavour with a clean and elegant finish.

Brew 2 teaspoons in freshly boiled water for 3–5 minutes, adjusting to your taste. Enjoy with or without milk — its balanced flavour works beautifully both ways. This tea is ideal for a refreshing afternoon moment or a gentle lift during the day.
