Celebrating our 200th Anniversary 1819-2019, we have our Anniversary Coffee Blend in a commemorative caddy
125g Fresh Roasted Coffee
DESCRIPTION:
Our commemorative blend of 5 extraordinarily different coffees from sought after regions around the world.
The beans have been blended by hand in their raw form, which has enabled a fantastic marriage of flavours and attributes from all of the 5 origins.
The initial roast was fired up by HRH The Countess of Wessex, in the Roastery in Kendal, Cumbria.
The 5 beans used:
Brazil Fazenda – A fine cup Brazil with characteristic notes of a continental breakfast of plums with honey, oats, yoghurt and berrys. Creamy body with mild acidity. A mellow creamy base of subtle coffee flavours are locked in and enhanced with it’s refined sugar notes.
Colombian Granja La Esperanza – Oozing gentle fruit notes of peach, apricot and nectarine, with a honey syrup body and sugar cane sweetness, rhubarb flavourings, with grapefruit and vanilla notes, hints of cherry and caramelised raspberry linger. It’s cherry aftertaste and aroma make it one of our favourite coffees.
Guatemala Huehuetenango Pena Roja – Deliciously sweet and fruity, maplelike syrup mouthfeel with pineapple and strawberry flavours. A sweet delicate, Guatemala with dessert like properties and soothing comforting sweetness.
Indian Cherry – Powerful flavours of nutmeg, clove and tobacco with cinnamon aromas and cocoa powdered body. Any bittersweet flavours of the cocoa are soothed out over our hand blending and roasting process. A warming, rich Indian coffee with a powerful spice undertone.
Mexican Monte Azul – An intensely sweet coffee, brews into a rich eye catching colour. Very balanced with a fine acidity. It’s spicy aroma and honey tones, are indicative of its chocolate biscuit likeness leaving an aftertaste, that has comforting wafer notes with malt. Produces a rich creamy crema with striped markings.
