Description

Jade Oolong is a beautifully refined tea from Nantou, a mountainous region in Taiwan known for producing some of the world’s finest oolongs. This hand-rolled speciality is prized by tea connoisseurs for its silky smooth texture and delicate notes of fragrant peach blossom.

Unlike heavily fermented oolongs, Jade Oolong is only lightly pre-fermented. The shorter fermentation creates a tea that is bright, fresh and elegant. It offers a lighter character than deeper, greener oolongs, which tend to have a tangier finish and a more robust body. Its appearance is distinctive, with tightly rolled leaves that shine in soft olive and jade tones. Once infused, the cup reveals a clear, light amber colour.

The flavour is smooth and clean. Expect soft floral notes, gentle sweetness and a hint of peach blossom in the first infusion. Jade Oolong is best enjoyed without milk, though a twist of lemon can complement its brightness.

To brew, use one teaspoon of leaves in 200ml of water at 80–90°C. Steep for 3–4 minutes. Oolong leaves can be infused several times, and each infusion brings subtle variations in flavour and aroma. This tea can be enjoyed throughout the day and suits both quiet mornings and relaxed evening moods.

Store Jade Oolong in an airtight container to protect its delicate fragrance. This premium Taiwanese tea offers a smooth, uplifting and beautifully aromatic experience with every cup.
