This commemorative Lakeland Special Tea Caddy celebrates our 200th Anniversary, 1819–2019 and honours two centuries of tea blending in the Lake District. Inside is our most beloved tea: Lakeland Special, a strong and uplifting black tea with a distinctive deep amber colour.
This signature blend is crafted from carefully selected Ceylon teas. It is made using our long-kept secret recipe, perfected to suit the naturally soft Lakeland water. The result is a refreshing, full-flavoured brew that has remained a customer favourite for generations. The fine cut of the leaves allows for a quick steep, releasing a bold yet balanced flavour with ease.
